Plutonians Condemn Demoting Pluto’s Status

To those people believed Extraterrestrials do exist, they would also agree that the Plutonians protested recent decision of the International Astronomical Union, demoting Pluto’s status into just a “dwarf planet.”

Last Thursday, August 24, 2006, the Earth’s Astronomers scorned Pluto considered it as too dinky and distant, eventually, downgraded its 76-year status as one of the major planets in the solar system.

Yesterday, August 28, 2006, I was informed by a human Extraterrestrial Contactee (EC), that she received a message from one of the leaders of the Morbid Alliance of Pluto in the name of Queen Ulfoffma.

The following is the statement of the Plutonian Queen thru the EC:

“In behalf of my alliance, I represent to you (humans) myself, I, Queen Ulfoffma of Planet Pluto. Doing things behind is out of nowhere. We are the inhabitant of planet Pluto, living the natural way is one of our Great Purpose in Life. We are the good ones to consider. We do nothing to harm you but to protect you humans. Without even knowing we share our love to you -- our DEEPEST AND SINCERE WAY OF FRIENDSHIP. We are now looking forward to create more good things in life. The idea of getting to lose our beloved planet Pluto is not illegal nor legal because of the unwise decision of other human being was absolutely nothing, and full of lies and USELESS.”

The Plutonian Queen also called on Humans not to consider them as enemies because in fact they are friends and they are helping mankind for its evolution. Ulfoffma appealed to human to reconsider its decision against the planetary status of Pluto.

They can’t deny their heartfelt disappointment with the Earth Astronomers’ decision but they hope in due time, man would correct their mistake. They just want their voice be heard before doing such decisions.

The ET Contactee also told me that the Extraterrestrials of different races in our solar system conducted their meeting and discussed the decision made by human astronomers, and they presumed the decision was actually influenced by their extraterrestrial enemies – those in connivance with the powerful nations of Earth.

Extraterrestrials are living in duality, meaning they divide themselves into two – good and bad. The bad guys have planned to invade many planets as they want to survive while the good guys are doing their best to protect the solar system led by the Martians. Martians are considered to be very powerful in armaments and has superior military tactics.

Pluto Demoted into A Dwarf Planet
August 24, 2006

PRAGUE, Czech Republic (AP) -- Pluto, beloved by some as a cosmic underdog but scorned by astronomers who considered it too dinky and distant, was unceremoniously stripped of its status as a planet Thursday.

The International Astronomical Union, dramatically reversing course just a week after floating the idea of reaffirming Pluto's planethood and adding three new planets to Earth's neighborhood, downgraded the ninth rock from the sun in historic new galactic guidelines.
The shift will have the world's teachers scrambling to alter lesson plans just as schools open for the fall term.

"It will all take some explanation, but it is really just a reclassification and I can't see that it will cause any problems," said Neil Crumpton, who teaches science at a high school north of London. "Science is an evolving subject and always will be."

Powerful new telescopes, experts said, are changing the way they size up the mysteries of the solar system and beyond. But the scientists at the conference showed a soft side, waving plush toys of the Walt Disney character Pluto the dog - and insisting that Pluto's spirit will live on in the exciting discoveries yet to come.

"The word 'planet' and the idea of planets can be emotional because they're something we learn as children," said Richard Binzel, a professor of planetary science at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, who helped hammer out the new definition.

"This is really all about science, which is all about getting new facts," he said. "Science has marched on. ... Many more Plutos wait to be discovered."

Pluto, a planet since 1930, got the boot because it didn't meet the new rules, which say a planet not only must orbit the sun and be large enough to assume a nearly round shape, but must "clear the neighborhood around its orbit." That disqualifies Pluto, whose oblong orbit overlaps Neptune's, downsizing the solar system to eight planets from the traditional nine.

Astronomers have labored without a universal definition of a planet since well before the time of Copernicus, who proved that the Earth revolves around the sun, and the experts gathered in Prague burst into applause when the guidelines were passed.

Predictably, Pluto's demotion provoked plenty of wistful nostalgia.
"It's disappointing in a way, and confusing," said Patricia Tombaugh, the 93-year-old widow of Pluto discoverer Clyde Tombaugh.

"I don't know just how you handle it. It kind of sounds like I just lost my job," she said from Las Cruces, N.M. "But I understand science is not something that just sits there. It goes on. Clyde finally said before he died, 'It's there. Whatever it is. It is there.'"

The decision by the IAU, the official arbiter of heavenly objects, restricts membership in the elite cosmic club to the eight classical planets: Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus and Neptune.

Pluto and objects like it will be known as "dwarf planets," which raised some thorny questions about semantics: If a raincoat is still a coat, and a cell phone is still a phone, why isn't a dwarf planet still a planet?

NASA said Pluto's downgrade would not affect its $700 million New Horizons spacecraft mission, which this year began a 9 1/2-year journey to the oddball object to unearth more of its secrets.
But mission head Alan Stern said he was "embarrassed" by Pluto's undoing and predicted that Thursday's vote would not end the debate. Although 2,500 astronomers from 75 nations attended the conference, only about 300 showed up to vote.

"It's a sloppy definition. It's bad science," he said. "It ain't over."
Under the new rules, two of the three objects that came tantalizingly close to planethood will join Pluto as dwarfs: the asteroid Ceres, which was a planet in the 1800s before it got demoted, and 2003 UB313, an icy object slightly larger than Pluto whose discoverer, Michael Brown of the California Institute of Technology, has nicknamed "Xena." The third object, Pluto's largest moon, Charon, isn't in line for any special designation.

Brown, whose Xena find rekindled calls for Pluto's demise because it showed it isn't nearly as unique as it once seemed, waxed philosophical.

"Eight is enough," he said, jokingly adding: "I may go down in history as the guy who killed Pluto."

Demoting the icy orb named for the Roman god of the underworld isn't personal - it's just business - said Jack Horkheimer, director of the Miami Space Transit Planetarium and host of the PBS show "Star Gazer."

"It's like an amicable divorce," he said. "The legal status has changed but the person really hasn't. It's just single again."

Island parish marks fiesta of Our Lady of Peñafrancia

THE FIRST AND ONLY ISLAND PARISH OF Our Lady of Peñafrancia, in Barrio Balaton, Lagonoy, Camarines Sur, will celebrate its second fiesta on Sept. 6. The new mission church was elevated to a parish in 2005 by Nueva Caceres Archbishop Leonardo Legaspi.

The parish can be reached by motorized bancas. Only 35 percent of the population are Catholics, and the rest are Aglipayans. Fr. Alex Guimpol is the brave parish priest committed to building a proper church for his parishioners who are mostly farmers and fishermen.

Right now, Masses are celebrated in a temporary chapel made of nipa and coco lumber.
Those who wish to help can write Fr. Alex Guimpol c/o Bishop Jose Rojas at Immaculate Conception Parish, PO Box 8824, Concepcion Pequeña, Naga City, or text 0918-6188673.

‘Ina’ in Metro
Devotees of “Ina” (Our Lady of Peñafrancia) in Metro Manila will hold a Triduum of Masses at 6:30 p.m., Sept. 7-9, at St. Andrew the Apostle Parish in Bel Air, Makati. Novena will be at 5:30 p.m.

The image of “Ina” will be brought to the church at 2 p.m. by motorcade from the RGC building, 219 Apo Street, Mandaluyong, with a brief stopover at Mandaluyong City Hall and the Medical Center.

At 12 noon on Sept. 10, a special Mass will be offered by devotees from Nabua, Camarines Sur at St. Andrew Parish. At 2 p.m., the miraculous image will be brought by motorcade to the Ayala Bridge where a fluvial procession will begin toward Jones Bridge.

At 5 p.m., a procession of devotees, mostly women, will bring the image to the Manila Cathedral for a concelebrated Mass.

I always find it touching when the Virgin and the Divino Rostro are brought to the Cathedral. With bells ringing and people waiting in anticipation, it is a joyous moment. People are assured that Jesus and Mary are truly there to help them.

Lipa gathering
On Sept. 12, Marian devotees from all over the Philippines will gather once more at the Carmelite Monastery in Lipa for the National Day of Prayer, Preparation and Consecration. On the same day in 1948, Our Lady appeared for the first time to Sister Teresing Castillo, a Carmelite postulant.

Asked who she was when she appeared on the second day, Our Lady told Teresing, “I am thy Mother, my little one.”

Sept. 12, the feast of the Holy Name of Mary, has been declared national day of prayer by the Catholic Bishops of the Philippines .

On Sept. 16, 1948 Our Lady told Teresing that a statue be placed where she appeared. On Sept. 26, she declared that she was “Mary Mediatrix of All Grace.”

This year, a new Marian organization, Confraternity of Mary, Mediatrix of All Grace, will be launched. Its founder is Fr. Melvin Castro, chancellor and secretary to the bishop of Tarlac.
Other Marian organizations are invited to join the National Movement for Mary working for the approval and official church recognition of the Lipa apparitions. Text Fr. Melvin at 0915-4202191.

‘Sagala’
The coffee-table book, “Sagala: The Queen of the Philippines’ Festivals”, written by Abe Florendo presents the historical background of the Flores de Mayo and the Santacruzan, peculiar practices associated with them— dramatizations with songs and dances, folk influences on liturgies and customs, traditions of the hermanos and hermanas, related festivals of Maytinis and Sunduan—and Marian devotion in the country.

“Sagala” contains vintage photographs and illustrations dating back to the 1890s, complemented by an exclusive folio of photographs of contemporary sagalas such as beauty queens, fashion models, entertainment icons, along with distinguished hermanos and hermanas wearing the best creations of the Fashion Designers Association of the Philippines.

Book design is by Eduardo Davad and photography by Richard Papa, with additional photos by Alfred Mendoza and Ramon Jeffrey Florendo.

Filipino volunteer
A long-time volunteer in the church where Hollywood stars and celebrities are seen, Daves Aguas, has been designated to do the flowers for the centennial celebration on Sept. 9 of St. Victor’s Catholic Church. A solemn High Mass will be celebrated by Cardinal Roger Mahoney.
For several years now, Daves’ arrangements, especially during Easter, are a must-see in the archdiocese of Los Angeles. He says, “If I have brought a soul to church because of my flowers, then I have fulfilled a mission.” Incidentally, St. Victor, the first African Pope, instituted the celebration of Easter on Sunday.

White Lady Appears Outside the Window

The photo was taken last July 9, 2006 in the third floor of the Philippine General Hospital. It was past midnight when the picture was taken using a phone digital camera. The person took the picture did not notice any one in the background of the three girls not until the photo was registered in the phone. The girls were shocked and scared to the teeth when they saw the picture with a ghostly image of a girl ---- a"White Lady", behind them. Take note: The ghost appeared outside the window, where the operating room is located. A clairvoyant said, it seems the ghost wants to say she misses taking pictures and a closer look to her image, of course we can't really described her face but my personal impression is she is pretty when she's still alive and you'll notice something like she's wearing a neck brace, maybe she was confined for a couple of days in the hospital then she died. A student said, she has impressions that the girl was involved in a car accident.
